Astrantia Star of LoveMasterwort. Striking rich ruby maroon flowers that are enhanced with a white base. Very free flowering, this form produces attractive, large deep green leaves and dark purple flowers stems. Prefers moist soil. Flowers in late spring into summer, full sun or partial shade. Height 60cm Spread 50cm. Hardy to 10c to 15c. Aftercare cut back dead flower spikes to encourage repeat flowers throughout summer and remove overwintered withered foliage in spring.
